Angelina County Warrant Courts by City
Five Angelina County cities run their own municipal-court routes: Lufkin, Diboll, Huntington, Hudson, and Zavalla. No single county policy binds them. Each court writes its own warrant rules. Lufkin posts Click2Gov payment instructions, Diboll defines a Warrant Status, and Huntington links an active-warrant interface. Hudson publishes a Safe Haven policy, while Zavalla asks you to call before using its vendor. Someone can live in one city and hold a case in another city, a JP precinct, County Court at Law, or District Court. The court name on the ticket decides where to ask.
Angelina County Municipal Court Warrant Process
A municipal court in Angelina County hears its own city ordinance and traffic cases. Miss an appearance and the court may add FTA charges, fees, or a warrant under its own procedure. An unpaid judgment can bring a capias or capias pro fine instead. Chapter 45A of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure governs justice and municipal criminal procedure. These city cases often stay off the county sheriff's list. In fact, the sheriff posts no public searchable roster. So call the city court itself to confirm a citation, its status, the amount owed, and the path to recall.
Municipal Warrant Courts Across Angelina County
The city court matrix separates each municipal issuer from nearby county JP offices. Phone contacts come from the cities and the county directory. Confirm current hours and payment links before you visit.

| Huntington | Huntington Municipal Court | PD links an active-warrants page shell | 936-422-4195 |

Diboll's Angelina County Warrant Status Rule
Diboll says a violation in Warrant Status cannot receive partial online payment. See the City of Diboll Municipal Court page for current status instructions. Its municipal court lists a court-set cash bond, attorney bond, or full payment as possible routes. The court also says a person will not be arrested when appearing to clear a warrant under its published policy; confirm the current rule before travel.
Revised April 2025 Standing Orders describe first, second, and final notices, a pre-warrant courtesy notice with ten days, and later warrant and DPS steps. The city's March 1–31, 2026 amnesty is over. Ask the clerk for a new notice rather than relying on expired terms.
See the City of Diboll Municipal Court page for its current status instructions.
Angelina County Municipal Warrant Checks
Take a city citation to the city clerk and a county citation to the JP named on it. A city website may offer a lookup interface, a payment page, or just a phone number, and those are not the same service. The county JP traffic page helps you sort out the four county courts. Still unsure which court holds the case? The Angelina County Sheriff's Warrant/Civil Process line, 936-639-8739, can route the question. County open records can hand over existing county-department documents, but it cannot give you a legal answer about a city's individual warrant. That answer lives with the issuing city clerk.
- Read the issuing agency and court on the citation.
- Call that municipal clerk and ask about FTA, warrant, or capias status.
- Confirm the amount, any plan, and whether an appearance is required.
- Ask when the court will recall the process after payment or a hearing.
Hudson Safe Haven Changes Warrant Calls
Hudson says a person who voluntarily appears to resolve an active municipal warrant can use its Safe Haven policy. The city's published procedures describe the court-specific route. The city gives 936-875-2358, extension 104, and 3458 Ted Trout Drive as the call-first contact. Payment plan or full payment may be available under the court's procedure.
Hudson now routes law-enforcement service through the Angelina County Sheriff's Office, but its municipal court still owns citations and warrant status. The sheriff's nonemergency line does not replace the city clerk. The Safe Haven statement does not cover felony or other-city process.
Hudson's published procedures describe the city-only Safe Haven process.
Angelina County Municipal Warrant Records: What They Show
Angelina County cities share no common municipal-warrant field list. A city case can carry a citation or ticket number, court, violation, appearance date, amount, payment-plan status, an FTA or warrant label, and disposition. Confirm each field with the city clerk. No shared public roster exists.
| City ticket | The identifier printed on the citation. |
|---|---|
| Case status | Ask whether the court marks FTA, warrant, or capias. |
| Balance | May include current fine, warrant, or collection fees. |
| Resolution | Payment, plan, bond, or appearance terms set by that court. |
Huntington's Angelina County Active-Warrant Link
Huntington Police links an “Active Warrants” page. The official Police Department page links to that interface. The review showed no visible entries, search fields, date, or paging controls, so treat it as an official program link only. A blank page does not mean that the city has no active process.
For an FTA, plea, defensive-driving approval, or payment question, contact Huntington Municipal Court. The PD says patrol dispatch runs through the Angelina County Sheriff; court status and dispatch are separate questions. Its TPIA form is for existing public records, not personal case lookup.
The city's Police Department page links to that interface.
Angelina County Municipal Court Payments
Every Angelina County city publishes a different payment route. Lufkin's Click2Gov instructions cover ticket, case, and plan numbers plus a T-number entry rule. Huntington links FastGovPay. Hudson accepts several methods and lists a black drop box where cash should not be placed. Zavalla's linked vendor uses a one-time code and says warrant balances must be paid in full unless the court arranged a plan. Call the court to confirm the current amount and whether payment changes warrant status. A vendor transaction is not a court recall order.
Lufkin's city department directory lists its Municipal Court contact.

Resolving an Angelina County Municipal Warrant
Call the issuing court in each city before you act. Ask whether full payment, a payment plan, a bond, or a court appearance clears the warrant. In Hudson, settle the Safe Haven terms first. Diboll applies a Warrant Status restriction worth asking about. Zavalla wants the amount confirmed before the linked vendor takes payment. One Angelina County city's fee or rule never carries to the next.
Keep proof: Save the clerk's written instructions and payment receipt, then ask when the court will update or recall its process.
Need an existing policy or a blank form? Use the city's public-information channel. For routing a warrant question across Angelina County courts, the Angelina County warrant overview maps the JP, municipal, County Court at Law, district, and sheriff roles.
Angelina County City Warrant Access
Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public information, though law-enforcement, juvenile, sealed, and identifying material may be withheld or redacted. Send a municipal-court file request to that city's records custodian directly. The county's general open-records form will not pull a municipal court file. Huntington, Hudson, and Zavalla each publish their own request channels, so ask for an existing policy, fee schedule, or form rather than a custom search or any decision about a person's status. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 45A adds court and confidentiality rules that can affect what an Angelina County office releases.
